AMFW Series SATCOM Amplifiers

MITEQ’s AMFW catalog line of SATCOM waveguide amplifiers offer the lowest noise figures available in an uncooled LNA in the various frequency bands associated with satellite communications. Achieving noise temperatures as low as 30K for C- and S-band, 45K for X-band, 60K for Ku-band, and as low as 100K for Ka-band, these amplifiers have been designed using state-of-the-art technology and can be used in either fixed or transportable applications. We offer many options including fault alarms, input limiters, 110-220VAC supply, temperature compensation as well as many other options. The high-reliability design of these SATCOM amplifiers allows MITEQ to offer a standard two-year warranty on units that consistently experience the harsh environments involved with satellite base station operation.

Satellite Communications CD Catalog

MITEQ recently released its comprehensive Fall 2008 Satellite Communication and Earth Station Equipment CD Catalog (CD-01J). It features approximately 2000 pages of information, such as the upconverters, downconverters, block up and downconverters, test translators, redundant switchover units, redundant amplifier systems and RF fiber optic links. Specific products include synthesized converters with 1 kHz step size, INMARSAT AFC capable converters, pilot generators and receivers, crystal controlled converters, and custom designed products. In addition, included is a wide array of technical application notes, a full facility tour along with an explanation of MITEQ�s manufacturing and design capabilities.

0.5 to 20 GHz Ultra-Broadband Downconverter

MITEQ introduces its new DC Series, Model DC-0.5/20G high performance ultra-broadband 2 Hz step agile downconverter system. This downconverter accepts RF signals from 0.5-20 GHz. It provides one selectable IF output of 70, 140, or 160 MHz and simultaneously one L-band output at 1200 MHz. The frequency conversion sense of both the outputs can be independently programmed as inverted or non-inverted. The superb phase noise makes this systems ideal for most applications including the stringent requirements of high order QAM.
