MITEQ manufactures an extensive line of Satellite Communication Up and Down Frequency Converters that include Block Fixed Tuned Frequency Converters, Synthesized Tunable Frequency Converters, Multiband Frequency Converters and Discrete Frequency Converters for both the Commercial and Military Markets. These SATCOM Upconverters and Downconverters are available as single, 1:1 and 1:2 redundant systems that ensure continuous operation.

NEW Space Saving, patented, 1/3 rack 1RU high Converters
These unique, full function space saving, patented, converters offer the same performance and options as our full rack units but require 1/3 the rack space of a traditional unit and are only available from MITEQ: 1/3 Rack Block Converters Applications, 1/3 Rack-Mounted Block Converters, and X-Band 1/3 Rack Block Converter Two-Slot System.

New Converter Products

| Q-Band High Performance, Antenna Mount Block Up- and Downconverters |
Q-Band SATCOM Series of outdoor, antenna-mount block up- and downconverters and test translators designed for use in secure, high performance satellite communications requirements are now available from MITEQ. This series covers RF frequency bands as wide as 43.5 to 45.5 GHz with either a 500 MHz IF bandwidth or full 1 GHz wide L-band IF. Much higher frequency IF bands are available in custom product derived from this new MITEQ product series. As with all MITEQ SATCOM converter products, the UPB-WS-XX block upconverter and the DNB-WS-YY provide excellent low phase noise and high dynamic range (XX and YY denotes RF center frequencies of the Up- and downconverter). | Ultimate Performance and Space Savings with 1/3 Rack Up- and Downconverters |
MITEQ´s unique 1/3 Rack, 1U high converters are now available in L-, S-, C-, X-, Ku- and Ka-bands. These up and downconverters offer excellent phase noise and low intermodulation, Gain: 30 dB upconverters / 35 dB downconverters and 30 dB of gain control. Available with a host of options these patented space saving units are easily configured to create redundancy systems in 1RU height.
Combined with MITEQ´s additional 1/3 Rack products: Test Translators, Slope Equalizers, Redundant Switchover Units, Amplifiers, Block Converters, Fiber Optic Transmitters and Receivers, and now you can configure your entire up- and downlink chain, including the Fiber Optic RF antenna interface in 1/3 the Rack space.

| DBS-band, 17.3 to 18.4 GHz, 9900 SERIES FREQUENCY CONVERTERS |
Model U-9957-2-1K MITEQ Inc. introduces DBS-band, 17.3 to 18.4 GHz, Upconverter with 1 KHz step size to expand MITEQ?s 9900 series converters. The new U-9957-2-1K DBS-band Upconverter complements the 9900 series of C and Ku-band of Up- and Downconverters meeting the same stringent performance and quality as provided in its sister products. An IF frequency of 70 MHz or optional 140 MHz is double converted to the DBS-band using a precision MITEQ frequency synthesizer and DRO resulting in an excellent phase noise performance well below the INTELSAT IESS-308/309 requirements. The DBS-band converter provides a complete suite of control and monitoring functions and options covering RS485/RS422 and RS232 interfaces plus 10/100 Base-T Ethernet. The unit is housed in a 1U, 19¨ rack package and operates on 90 to 250 VAC.
