| High Power Linear X-Band PA for Satellite Communications |
Model AMF-5B-07900840-35-40P is a connectorized X-band high power amplifier/module, covering 7.9-8.4 GHz and delivering over 10W at P1dB.
The connectorized aluminum housing is 1.7¨ high, including the top fins, 5.77¨ wide and 5.77¨ long, excluding the connectors and the standard field replaceable isolator. Connectors are female, SMA. It is intended for bolting to a flat cooling surface. Housing in environmentally sealed, EMI shielded and hermetic sealing option is also available. A top heatsink is also utilized.
This module has internal regulation, over voltage, temperature and reverse polarity protection. Single +12 to +15V supply is required. PA is fully compliant over a base temperature range of -30 to +60?C.
Nominal small-signal gain is near 45 dB with a gain flatness of less than ±1.5 dB. RF port VSWRs are less than 1:1.5 and noise figure is less than 3 dB. Output IP3 is typically 47 dBm.
Current draw is nominally 5A and 5.2A at P1dB. Heatsink, fan pack, and TTL control are optional.

| Low Noise Millimeter Wave Waveguide Amplifier |
Model JDM2WK-18002600-25-10P K-band waveguide LNA, is a very low noise, high dynamic range waveguide front end with WR-42 waveguide input and K(F) connector output. Additional options include pressure windows and three flange configurations, choke, grooved, and cover. The JDM2WK-18002600-25-10P is lightweight and has a small profile and footprint. The aluminum alloy housing is environmentally sealed and also fully EMI shielded. LNA includes reverse voltage protection and full internal regulation. Total weight is approximately 32 grams, and dimensions are 58.12 mm x 22.35 mm x 22.35 mm.
The JDM2WK-18002600-25-10P has a typical noise figure of 2.5 dB and a P1dB of 10 dBm. Output IP3 is 20 dBm minimum. Small-signal gain is 42 dB and gain flatness is ±2 dB maximum. Current draw is nominally 150 mA from a single +15V supply, with an operating temperature of -54 to +85°C case.
Additional options include optimization for improved narrow band performance. LNA design can be upscreened for space and perform in cryogenic applications.

Model JDM2WK-20202120-15-8P is a new addition to MITEQ's narrowband waveguide LNA's. The Model JDM2WK-20202120-15-8P is a very low noise, high dynamic range waveguide front end with WR-42 waveguide input and K(F) connector output, also available with WR51 input. This unit is great as an Airborne SATCOM data link. This low-noise amplifier is lightweight and has a small profile and footprint. The aluminum alloy housing is environmentally sealed and also fully EMI shielded with optional shielded DC power connector. LNA includes reverse voltage protection and full internal regulation. Total weight is approximately 32 grams, and dimensions are 58.12 mm x 22.35 mm and 22.35 mm.
Model JDM2WK-20202120-15-8P has a typical noise figure of 1.5 dB and a minimum P1dB of 8 dBm. Output IP3 is 18 dBm minimum. Small-signal gain is 48 dB and gain flatness is ±0.5 dB maximum. Current draw is nominally 150 mA from a single +15V supply. Operating temperature is -54 to +85°C case.

| Miniature Low Noise Ka-Band Waveguide LNA |
Model AMFW-6F-18102120-120 is part of a new line of low profile, lightweight, small volume, and high dynamic range Ka-band very low noise amplifiers. The new SATCOM LNA family offers a unique combination of features and performance in an extremely small footprint. Total weight is approximately 125 grams maximum, has a pressurizable waveguide at the input, and package profile is 104 mm x 22 mm x 34.5 mm. The input conforms to WR42 and is available in grooved or flat flange. See Outline 165402 on our website for more details. Numerous models cover 18.10 to 21.5 GHz in various sub-bands of 1 GHz and wider, with P1dB of 10 to 23 dBm across the full band.
The AMFW-6F-18102120-120 has a typical noise temperature of 100 K° with a maximum of 120 K°. The LNA includes full internal regulation, as well as reverse voltage protection. Input and output VSWR is a maximum of 1.25:1 and 1.5:1 respectively. Small signal gain is 50 dB minimum, with a flatness of ±1 dB maximum. Maximum ripple is 0.4 dB/40 MHz within the entire band.

Model AMF-8B-08001800-40-33P A series of 6-8, 12-18 and 8-18 GHz amplifiers are introduced by MITEQ Inc., covering 30 dBm to 34 dBm. The Model AMF-8B-08001800-40-33P delivers over 33 dBm of power over full band of 8-18 GHz, with over 40 dB gain and ±2.5 dB flatness. Noise figure is less than 4 dB, port VSWR is less than 2:1, and it draws about 3A from a single +12 to +15V DC supply. The housing has a footprint of only 3¨ by 1.9¨ and 0.9¨ high with SMA connectors. Heatsink and other control features are also available as options.

Isolator protected at both the pressure sealed WR-42 waveguide input and K(F) connector output, the low-noise amplifier is lightweight with a small profile and footprint. The aluminum alloy housing is sealed against most severe environmental conditions and also fully EMI shielded. The LNA includes reverse voltage, over current and over temperature protection in addition to full internal regulation. Total weight is approximately 800 grams, and dimensions are 156 mm x 70 mm x 51 mm. The AMFW-8F-17702130-150-P2-TC-WP has a typical noise temperature of 120 K°, with a maximum of 150 K°, and it is capable of a minimum of 20 dBm P1dB across the full band. Noise temperature will typically change with base temperature of the LNA at a rate of 0.28 K/°C. Output IP3 is 33 dBm minimum. Input and output port VSWR is a maximum of 1.3:1 and 1.5:1 respectively. Small-signal gain is 62 dB typical and flatness is 2 dB peak-to-peak with a maximum gain ripple of 0.2 dB/40 MHz within the whole band. Gain variation with temperature is less than 0.08 dB/°C. Gain is stable to less than 0.4 dB/Month. Total group delay is constant to less than 1 nsec over the full band. Current draw is nominally 500 mA from a single +12 V to +24 V supply. | High Dynamic Range Linear Amplifier Covers 4-8 GHz |
Model AMF-4B-04000800-50-33P MITEQ introduces a family of broadband amplifiers that cover 4-8 GHz with minimum 36 dB gain, typical 34 dBm P1dB, 40 dBm output IP3, and a very low noise figure. The AMF-4B-04000800-50-33P is a balanced amplifier with excellent gain flatness to within ±1 dB typical over the full band. This unit has a maximum noise figure of 5 dB and draws nominally 1650 mA from a single +15V supply. Small coaxial housing comes with field-removable cooling fins on top and a mounting plate at the bottom and is 3? long altogether. The AMF-4B-04000800-23-33P has the same electrical specifications but has a noise figure of typically 2 dB or less over the whole octave bandwidth from 4-8 GHz. Port VSWRs are less than 2:1. Operating temperature range of the amplifier is -30 to +55°C at the base plate and it has internal regulation, thermal protection and temperature compensation.

| Ka-Band Ultra Small and Low Noise Coaxial LNA |
Model AMF-5F-18002200-17-10P has been added to its family of extremely low noise and ultra small coaxial LNAs in the 18-22 GHz band. This LNA has over 40 dB of gain in a housing that is only 8 mm high and 16 mm long without the field-replaceable K-connectors. Gain flatness is a maximum of ?1.5 dB, though typical is ±0.75 dB. The AMF-5F-18002200-17-10P has a maximum noise figure of 1.7 dB in the full band, and typical is 1.5 dB. It operates from -40 to +75°C, has a P1dB of minimum 10 dBm, IP3 of typically 20 dBm, and a current draw of maximum 180 mA from a single +15V DC supply. Port VSWR is less than 2:1 for both input and output. Other models with typical gains ranging from 23 to 47 dB are available in two sizes of housings, with smaller one only 12 mm long without the connectors. The aluminum alloy housing provides excellent thermal performance in addition to being very small and light. Hermetic sealing is an option.

Model AFS4-00101200-18-10P-4 MITEQ Inc. introduces a new addition to its family of LNAs. The Model AFS4-00101200-18-10P-4 is ultra low noise, lightweight and has a small profile and footprint. The Kovar housing is a hermetically sealed package. This unit has an ultra low noise figure of 1.8 dB maximum.
Input and output port VSWR is a maximum of 2:1. Small-signal gain is 28 dB minimum and P1dB is +10 dBm minimum. The AFS4-00101200-18-10P-4 comes with various options such as various bandwidths, cryogenic models, input limiter, input/output DC block, and bias through output. | Multi-Octave GaN RF Power Amplifiers |
Model AMFG-3F-00030400-60-32P MITEQ?s AMFG family of GaN power amplifiers covers frequency ranges more than ten octaves wide. High impedances of these devices allow for excellent port match and gain flatness over very wide bandwidths. Inherent robustness of the device technology enables these amplifiers to withstand very high base temperatures or surges in RF or DC power without compromising their reliability. The Model AMFG-3F-00030400-60-32P operates from 30 MHz to 4 GHz, has over 40 dB gain, typical ±1.5 dB flatness, P1dB of over 32 dBm and a Psat of 34 dBm typical. IP3 is typically 40 dBm. It is available in a small connectorized aluminum alloy housing, 6 cm long, 7.3 cm wide and 2.5 cm high, requires a single 30V DC supply and draws about 600 mA. It has a built-in over/reverse voltage, temperature and current protection. Port VSWRs are less than 2:1 for the whole band, able to withstand full reflection. The operational temperature range is -40 to +65°C at base. Noise figure is near 5dB and flat. In the same footprint and outline, MITEQ offers other models covering 30 MHz to 3 GHz at 33 dBm, 0.7-3.8 GHz at 36 dBm, a radio band module at 230-250 MHz at 37 dBm and others.

Model AMFW-3F-12201270-10-15P is a new addition to its extensive line of very low noise waveguide LNAs. This Ku-Band Miniature Waveguide LNA is a half-height WR-75 integrated LNA designed for harsh environmental and extreme temperature conditions. In addition, it is designed to be extremely small, lightweight and for low power dissipation, ideal for airborne and portable applications. This model offers a noise figure of 1.1 dB maximum at +70°C ambient, 0.9 dB maximum at room temperature and 0.8 dB typical at 12.2 to 12.7 GHz. At -55°C, noise figure is 0.65 dB typical. The AMFW-3F-12201270-10-15P has a gain of 23 dB ±3 dB over the entire operating temperature range, port match of 1.5:1 maximum VSWR. Maximum current draw is less than 100 mA from a single 12V supply. Typical P1dB is +14 dBm and output IP3 is typically +25 dBm. Complete LNA weighs less than 30 grams. This model is also offered in tight gain/phase-matched pairs or lots.
